Midnight in Verona...

...and I just started my first official blog. After blogging via email for almost a year now I realized it was time to make things more interesting (thanks to some inspiration from Jethro and my sis, Jill). So I started a real blogging page! ;)

I'm going to start with new updates however, why backtrack at this point? Everyone has already heard about our latest travels to Tuscany, Siena and Rome so I'll post some pics about that below.

We have a work trip planned this weekend. The first Ink Addiction group vacation to a beach in Tuscany. Munday and I will be the only non-Italians so I'm sure we will disappoint all of them with our large touristy camera as well as "uuuh's" and "awww's" every five seconds - but that's why they love us!

I'm off to bed on this rainy Sunday night to continue reading a great novel entitled The Suspicions of Mr. Whicher (or The Murder at Road Hill House) by Kate Summerscale; a scheming true story about the famous 1860 Kent family murder in England. The real murder is paralleled with history about the profession of 'detective' and the literature that spawned from the new cultural phenomenon (i.e. Poe and Dickens). Gruesome and educational! Look into it...

Here's some of my most recent favorites:

Tuscany...

Siena Downtown

Rome Downtown

Roman Coliseum

The Forum

Vatican
(Pics were prohibited in the Sistine Chapel)

Venice

Vinitaly (Largest wine festival in the world here in Verona.)

Munday and I on a final night with the girls (& Josh) in Verona.
